Histoire de la Société
Après avoir fondé Goelst Nederland B.V. en 1978, Rolf E. Goelst a utilisé son temps de manière efficace : il a commencé en tant qu’importateur exclusif de mobilier pour vêtements (en se concentrant sur les casiers de vestiaire) et de produits associés. En l’espace d’un an, Rolf a conçu et développé ses propres rails de rideaux : le G-Rail.
La première grande installation du rail de rideaux G-Rail a eu lieu à l’hôpital AMC à Amsterdam – initialement avec le système 2300. Cette installation a conduit au développement d’une solution de rail unique pour l’industrie de la santé : le système 4100. Ces rails de séparation permettent d’assurer la confidentialité entre les patients dans la même pièce et sont toujours utilisés par plus de 75 % des hôpitaux aux Pays-Bas. Cela a permis à Goelst de devenir le leader du marché européen des produits de santé.
Dans le but de maintenir l’approvisionnement en produits de haute qualité à un niveau de prix réaliste, il est devenu évident qu’il était nécessaire d’internationaliser l’entreprise. En 1986, Goelst a ouvert un bureau en Suisse, et six mois plus tard, un entrepôt de distribution.
En 2000, Goelst a nommé un grossiste français, qui est devenu une société Goelst établie en 2003 : G-Rail France, qui était également une entreprise familiale, dirigée par Stéphane Levrard. En 2002, Goelst a fait ses premiers pas vers les États-Unis, en ouvrant un entrepôt et un bureau de vente dans la région d’Atlanta l’année suivante.
Tous ces pays sont maintenant représentés par des sociétés Goelst établies. En 2004, Frank Goelst, fils de Rolf Goelst, a officiellement rejoint l’équipe de direction, devenant ainsi son successeur. Il dirige désormais le groupe Goelst avec une excellente équipe de personnes compétentes et expérimentées.
