LRS – Load Release System

The Load Release System is a unique and patented system that enables the track, in the event of a load peak of 35kg  (77lbs), to detach from its LRS bracket. The track can subsequently be reinstalled. Additionally, there are Load Release gliders that operate similarly to the brackets; in the event of a load peak, the gliders detach while the track remains in place.

Product Description

Partition, shower, or window tracks can be equipped with a Load Release System (LRS). This unique and patented system ensures that the track detaches in case of a load peak of approximately 35 kg (77lbs). The track detaches from its mounting points and can then be reattached. The Load Release System addresses a demand in the healthcare sector, particularly in services where there is a high risk of hanging, by providing tracks that can detach in a controlled manner.

The components of this system are designed to allow for the combination of 4100 and 5100 series tracks. During normal track usage, the presence of the system is not noticeable. In addition to the Load Release System, you can also opt for Load Release gliders. In the event of a curtain load peak, it is the gliders that detach from the track, while the track itself remains in place.

The gliders can pivot within the track and feature a flexible yet robust sliding foot. Under normal conditions, the LRS glider behaves like a standard glider. However, in the event of a sudden and/or significant load peak, the glider detaches from the track, preventing any tearing of the track from the ceiling.

Load Release gliders can be used on tracks from the 4100, 4200, and 5100 series and are not used in conjunction with the LRS system. There are two types of gliders, red and gray. Grey gliders detach more easily than red ones
